Princess in Waiting
Anyone who has seen my vlogs knows that my “claim to fame”, other than being a genius (ha!), is my tiara. I wear it in all of my vlogs, regardless. Some people have wondered why? Well, in my first vlog the topic was “Here Comes my Frock” where I talked about my wedding dress. As I can no longer fit into my wedding dress (sob) and it’s also somewhere in the bottom of a garment bag in the loft, I chose to wear my tiara whilst sharing my story. I mean, when do you get to wear a tiara otherwise? Because I am such a class act I feel the need to wear my tiara for every vlog now. Hope you don’t mind!
Little Miss quite enjoys my tiara. In fact, as I wear it in all vlogs and she and I have filmed a few cooking vlogs together, she reminded me of my tiara when we were baking a few weeks back. I wasn’t recording this particular baking session but as I got Little Miss installed and was preparing the ingredients, Little Miss looked at me and said, “Mummy, you forgot a crown!” She was right! I was sans tiara! So I went and got it and put it on Little Miss instead…
Isn’t she just perfect! A Cafe Bebe Princess in Waiting! For Little Miss’ birthday last week I splashed out on a rubbish, plastic exceptionally classy tiara set from Tesco. The first picture is Little Miss greeting her adoring public. We only have to work on the wave now and we’ll be all set for Trooping the Colours. I’m sure the Queen will be most impressed.
Dancing Like a Disney Princess
Did you ever want to dance like a Disney Princess? Well, I imagine I did, in my childhood but I’ve been practising a bit of Princess dancing thanks to a Twitter Dare from 2 other bloggers. That’s right…a dare! A vlogging “Dance Off” if you will. Last week, Liz at Living with Kids did a post about learning how to dance like a Disney Princess. The British Dance Council and Disney are encouraging British school children to get active. You can see the site and the demonstration video but you may just want to take inspiration from myself, Pippa at A Mother’s Ramblings and Manda at Flying Start Magazine. There is a competition to this as well but it’s not being judged by the vlogging/blogging public however, contact Liz on Twitter to offer her bribes. She very well may be able to be bought depending on the bribe! Enjoy my dance with Little Miss. I challenge you to do the same with your Little Miss or Mister.

Welcome to Cafe Bebe...a tale of the adventures of two parents who found each other across an ocean, learned how to parent thanks to a toddler called Ella and a bebe called Sam while maintaining their sanity...just.
