Did I ever mention that I went on a cruise with Royal Caribbean earlier this year? No? Oh, wait, yes, I know I did! Well, to say that it was an eye opening experience is a bit of an understatement. The opulence, state of the art facilities, attention to detail and surprisingly comfortable feel of everything on the ship was an amazing thing to experience. And of course, last month I was able to show my family the Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas as we spent a fun-filled afternoon on the ship’s turn-around day. Ella was so excited to be on a ship just like Mummy and Mark was so impressed with everything.
What I would love to do is challenge you to consider what a cruise holiday with Royal Caribbean would be like for you and your family? We all are looking for the perfect holiday; one that includes something amazing for each member of your family! I have a little competition to get you looking at Royal Caribbean and to help you create your perfect Royal Caribbean holiday! There are even prizes, courtesy of Royal Caribbean who has recently partnered with Barbie. I bet you didn’t know that you could cruise with Barbie and Royal Caribbean?
So, here is my challenge to you:
- Check out the Royal Caribbean Family Holidays page
- Tell me what appeals most to you about a family holiday on a Royal Caribbean ship.
- Tell me which ship and cruising route would appeal most to you and why.
- I’ll give you until next week (Friday 16 August at 8:45am) to leave me a comment with answers to the questions above. From the entries/comments I will choose 3 winners.
Barbie Cruise Ship: with this cruise ship, children can play out the perfect family vacation — on the “water” or docked at shore. The side panel of the large-scale boat opens to reveal an additional deck below and expands the play space to 3.5 feet. With areas for dining, playing, lounging, and sleeping, this delightful cruise ship lets children sail away into imagination and play!
One of these Barbie Ballerina dolls: These two dolls represent classical ballets, Giselle and Swan Lake. Featuring articulated legs, children can actually make these ballerinas dance! Simply push the doll down into a plié; when she comes up, she performs a fast entrechat.
Barbie Backpack: This colourful Barbie Stationery Backpack comes complete with a ring binder and writing accessories. Ideal for travelling, little ones can take their drawing and writing kit with them.
Winners will be chosen from all entries/comments. Open to UK residents only. I will announce prize winners on Friday 16 August at 9:00am. You will be notified through social media channels and email if you provide one. Prizes will be sent directly from Royal Caribbean. Good luck and happy cruise shopping!
