Colour by Lego-Duplo
This past weekend we had the pleasure of having the Westfield Lego-Duplo store all to ourselves (along with about 8 other bloggy families)! We were treated to various set-ups of Duplo stations, viewed new adverts, were allowed to play Lego-Duplo games on the computer and may have had a snack or two. As a part of the Lego-Duplo Expert group, the Cafe Bebe family has been allowed to be an “ambassador” for Lego-Duplo for the last year and have loved every second. Most recently we were proud to receive & trial the Lego-Duplo Cars 2 sets. Although Ella has never seen Cars, she’s loved playing with the cars and then deconstructing the race course to make her own “free build” with all of the Lego-Duplo blocks.
In addition to the usual fun that Lego-Duplo brings, there were some Danish Lego-Duplo employees on hand to let us in on the 2012 prototypes which will be introduced in January 2012. We got a sneak peek of some LOVELY Lego-Duplo which will please the boys AND the girls in your house next year and let me tell you…you’re gonna be pleased! But shhhhh, it’s not out until next year so you’ll have to wait (or bribe me with loads of cash).
This was our adventurous weekend in glorious London in the unseasonably warm October weather…surrounded by unnatural colour but rather vibrant colour nonetheless!
**As a Lego-Duplo expert, our travel, accomodation and lunch were compensated by Lego-Duplo. The love that we have for Lego-Duplo is not bought, however, and the words and opinions of Mark, Ella and Mummy are heartfelt and honest.**

I love the first shot! What fun x
Lovely take on the theme, I am sure Ella must have loved it over there
@Kahanka
Mirka,
Ella had an absolute blast! Thanks…it may not be Mother Nature’s colour but it’s still colourful (as is her dress!)
Karin
Mum2babyinsomniac,
Thanks…a Lego-Duplo wonderland! I never had it as a kid but even hubby was pretty entranced!
Karin
What a lovely picture and can’t beat Lego Duplo, my two love it. x
Susan,
Karin
Ooh thank you lovely. Lego-Duplo is timeless isn’t it?!
I haven’t introduced my two to Duplo yet *adds to possible Xmas list ideas* although my nephew is an enormous Lego fan, we took him to the shop at Bluewater and couldn’t get him out of there. He’s got his eye on one of the +16 boxes, have you seen them? Trillions of pieces, that’d keep ‘em quiet for a bit
Mari,
Karin
Yes, the +16 sets are pretty awesome. I’d even like some of them. There’s a Tower Bridge one that’s awesome! The price tags are a bit awesome as well! But yes, the Lego-Duplo stuff would be perfect for the girls. You’ll be delighted to see what’s coming in January 2012. Shhhh.
Oh I love the lego pick and mix and your photo captures it perfectly!
XxX
ohh lego duplo theres not much thats more colourful or fun!
We love lego and lego duplo! Always very colourful!
LauraCYMFT,
Thank you! Ella will sit for a long period of time and free build to her heart’s content. My kind of toy!
Karin
Sarahmumof3,
I know. Being a bit of a girly-girl I would like a bit more pastel colours though!
Karin
Ghostwritermummy,
I never was into Lego when I was young…mainly because it was more a BOY thing but I could seriously get into it now!
