Play
The theme of today’s Gallery is ONE WORD.
Our ONE WORD is PLAY!
On Monday the sun came out. This was a very good thing indeed. I promised Little Miss that after her nap, we’d take her balance bike and go down to the park. We haven’t been down to our park for ages. In fact, I think the last time we went to our park was when our dog, Sinjin, was still alive and kicking. This was a while ago indeed.
Little Miss loves ANY park. I need to be a better Mummy and take her more often…bad Mummy.
Little Miss is big enough and brave enough to tackle the mushrooms in the play area. I remember teaching her to do it herself last autumn. She’s so fiercely independent and stubborn. I have no idea where she gets it!
But Little Miss favourite thing to play on is the SLIDE! Weeeeeeee! I just wish we had a bigger, better, g0-faster-sort-of slide. We’ll have to go to another park for that one I guess.
And then it was time to go home…but we’ll make a much better effort to get out and enjoy the fresh air as longĀ as the sunshine cooperates. And Mummy promises to PLAY more, Little Miss. I promise…

Aren’t you lucky to have such aa lovely park.
I love it when the sunshine comes out, it even makes me feel like playing!

Gorgeous pics full of happiness Karin, love them all. x
There’s nothing better than to spend an hour or so at the park with little one. Maybe it’s the freedom of movement that they love so much.
I love the photos of her balancing on the mushrooms-I wish they were at our park
..and the happiness shines from her every pore! What a happy Little Miss you have there

Balance bikes are a fantastic invention for getting mummies to go to the park!
YOU ARE NOT A BAD MUMMY!!! There, now that’s out of the way, some great pictures there, especially the one on the ‘wobbly’ bike
I remember so many days outside with my boy, in the park, feeding ducks, playing on slides. I do wonder why, at 15, he would rather stay in, chill out on the sofa and play on the computer! I tried!
Great pictures, she looks so happy …and she has grown so much, hasn’t she? @Kahanka
