This week’s Gallery theme is “Show Us a Picture You’re Proud of”. Ooh, that Tara is a sneaky one! But I have to say, thanks to Tara’s Gallery, I have started thinking about my photo taking a bit more. It doesn’t mean that my photos are any more perfect and I do use an automatic, digital camera so it’s not really ME taking the genius shots but I’ve at least picked a good subject.
My subject, 9 times out of 10 is my Little Miss. I am a rather proud mama you know? And I managed to take a rather adorable picture of her back in April which sits in the header of this blog. Have a look, in case you’ve forgotten!
This photo was taken one morning in a Cafe in Stamford, Lincs. Little Miss was enjoying a “smoo-vie” and I managed to snap 3 quick photos of her before she really realised it which is rare. It’s also rare that I catch such an innocent moment fairly well. I have used the online photo editing site Picnik to “warm” the photo a bit and frame it but what you see is what you get. Not too shabby, I suppose. I’m a proud enough mama that I thought this photo deserved pride of place on the Cafe Bebe header. I hope you agree.
Now, head on over to Sticky Fingers where you will find far better photos by much better photographers. I’m amazed at the talent every week. I’ll stick with my favourite subject for now…my Little Miss.

Welcome to Cafe Bebe...a tale of the adventures of two parents who found each other across an ocean, learned how to parent thanks to a toddler called Ella and a bebe called Sam while maintaining their sanity...just.
