I’m suddenly feeling all photographer-like. I blame Tara Cain’s “The Gallery” which sets us a new task every week to test our photo taking ability. I’m the one in our family who takes the pictures but until this week, I never looked at OTHER things to see their value. I take pictures of my daughter mostly. She’s the lovely one I want to capture. Oh, and of course my hubby. Generally they are together. My two favourite subjects. But this week’s theme is: STILL LIFE. Hmmm…it got me thinking…really thinking.
So, yesterday, in the garden, I found a few items which I thought were worthy of a photograph. Thanks to Picnik, I think they may have turned out better than the originals…I give you Cafe Bebe’s Not-So-Still Life.
We have a little pink & white windmill installed in our strawberry plant pot. There was NO wind yesterday but I loved the colours. After messing around a bit more, this is what I came up with.
This was what was left behind in Little Miss’ sandbox…her footprint.
Little Miss adores ice cream. A sunny day, a 99 and a bib were all we needed!
Little Miss’ “Crocs” with a wee bit of sand. Such active shoes most of the time. Here they are…still.
Thank you Tara…you may have brought out the photographer in me. Now, maybe I need a funky new camera to go with it?

Welcome to Cafe Bebe...a tale of the adventures of two parents who found each other across an ocean, learned how to parent thanks to a toddler called Ella and a bebe called Sam while maintaining their sanity...just.
