The Power of Twitter
I got a bit of disappointing news today regarding some plans for the weekend. I blame it all on that stupid volcano in Iceland which is messing with all of Europe’s airspace. Thanks to that, my plans are scuppered and I’m feeling a bit deflated. I mentioned that on Twitter and quick as a flash, friends, aquaintances and strangers all tried to cheer me up. Some of them included bad jokes, sharing the fact that they were eating chocolate (but I wasn’t so it was hard to be happy for them) and then one friend emailed me the image above. She took the time to create a graphic, send it to me in an email and then let me know on Twitter. I’ve never met this delightful blogger in person but she’s always a ray of light and I never hear her moan like some of us do. She is an outstanding Just Vlog It participant and an all around brilliant blogger. She’s up for a MAD Award as Best MAD Blog for Family Fun and definitely deserves your vote.
Thank you Pippa of A Mother’s Ramblings. You are a shining star and I think you’re just delightful! You have definitely brightened my day!
