Great New Blog Friday

The first week of December is upon us and again, I have found some lovely new blogs that you really need to frequent.  Some have been blogging for a while but they are new to me…others are true newbies!  Welcome to the fray, all!

  • headstroller Great New Blog FridayCarrot in Mum’s Hair is a lovely blog written by Kim who has jumped head first into the challenge of Baby Led Weaning.  I was very interested in this blog as a friend of mine is struggling with getting her daughter onto solids.  But Kim doesn’t just blog about BLW, she has a really poignant post entitled, “A Moment to Think” that you need to read.  Enjoy!
  • She Was Not At All Domestic is a blog by “Mummy Bear” who lived a fast-paced life as a Beauty Editor on a glossy magazine and has chucked it all for motherhood and domestic bliss in her own Fairy Cottage.  Those of you in the know will notice that her profile picture is Felicity Kendall of “The Good Life”…don’t think that’s her though.  Mummy Bear’s latest post is “A Letter to Me, Aged 16” which was a very popular choice in Sleep is for the Weak‘s weekly Writing Workshop.
  • Mummy Matters is written by a friend of mine, Sabina, who has put together a really comprehensive site including blog posts, a pregnancy journal, helpful money tips and other fun facts.  She’s just getting her start in the Blogging World so show her a little love and leave a comment or two…she’ll be so happy!
  • Mummy’s Learning Curve is another newbie on the block…this girl needs followers please!  She’s a lovely mum who I met for the first time, IN PERSON, yesterday at a Mummy Blogger Tea hosted by Being a Mummy.
  • Flying Start Magazine Blog is a lovely look into the life of Manda, creator of Flying Start Magazine which is a brilliant mag for all things amazing in the baby/toddler/young person world.  Her latest post is all about the joy of the holidays which we can probably all relate to.

So there you have it…5 blogs this week which would make great reading for you this weekend and into the future.  It’s always nice to give new bloggers (and old) a bit of a boost.  It’s Christmas…go on, you know you want to!
