Netmums Work from Home Award

About a month and a half ago, I received my weekly newsletter from Netmums.  There was an article inviting any and everyone to apply for the Netmums Work from Home Award, part of the Remote Worker Award.  You had the opportunity to win a home-based business, a Spa package, training from a Life Coach, professional CV writing, a PR consultation and to be in the running for the Vivid Green Award which provides the winner with a high-comfort, low-energy home office.  Sounded like a good plan to me! 

I spent a good while filling in all the necessary fields and writing about myself and my goals and my strengths and why I thought I should be awarded this prize.  It was a good writing exercise for me.  I clicked SEND and off it went.  About 2 weeks ago I had an email from the Director of Remote Employment, inviting me to apply for some additional awards (there were others who were invited…not just me mind you) and informing me that we would be notified if we were shortlisted for the awards.

Guess who got an email today?  That’s right…little old me!  I’m on the SHORTLIST!!!   And guess where we find out who wins the lovely Netmums Work from Home Award ?  Cliveden House!  Here’s a bit about Cliveden House:
